University Trip
What is the trip?
Student will not only enjoy the trek but also experience physical and mental challenge during the trekking. There is strict code of conduct to be followed during trek and co-ordinate along with the other team members.
Community work:
Upon return from the trek, student will be transfer to nearby village for community work. During the community work student will live carefully selected local family and experience local rural life besides helping at the nearby school. Volunteers will provide help in various way by teaching English to the young student age 10- 15 years, construction, heath or any other possible area.
Trekking:
There are various trekking such as Annapurna base camp, Everest base camp, Langtang trek, Gorepani trek. All the trekking takes different times and offer amazing experiences of rural life of Nepal and breath taking view of Himalaya.
Preparation and Precaution:
Basanta Adventure to provide all the relevant information in advance to prepare for the trip and provide comprehensive trip briefing upon arrival which Includes: health briefing by renowned medical doctor, registered in concern embassy, briefing of trekking, other holiday activities and community work.
With regard to all risks, we have an excellent safety record. On arrival in Kathmandu we brief all clients with regard to health issues in Nepal: safe drinking water and eating. We believe in taking maximum precaution to avoid any potential hazards. We provide in-depth briefing for every activity, backed up additional briefing by the experts of each activity. We provide a handout so clients do not forget the important issues. Trekking trails are very easy and we select the safest and cleanest lodges. Our staffs are entirely reliable and honest. There is very little danger of theft on trek, our staffs are very vigilant. Nepalese people have reputation of being one of friendliest people. Tourists are always welcome.
Our guides are fully capable of handling any eventualities and familiar with all emergency operations as required. We provide one of the most efficient Helicopter rescue service if necessary.
