Trip summary:
This tour offer experience of a lifetime being close to highest mountain on Earth without mountaineering or any strenuous trekking effort or experience. However, trip required certain degree of adventurous spirit and fitness. Tour cover of 3 major base camp of Mt. Everest 8848m, Shisapangma 8013m and Cho Oyu, 8201m. Some of the people can just imagine going to the foot - hills surrounded by the Giant Pinnacles. This is probably the best way to witness the world's highest mountains in certain degree of comfort. There is easy day hike in base camps to allow you to stretch your leg and give you feel of the high altitude trek offering you breathtaking view of majestic peaks.
The tour begins with a comprehensive trip briefing in Kathmandu followed by a sensational trans Himalayan flight to Lhasa that passes over Mt. Everest and many highest peaks of the world (if you join the tour in Kathmandu). This is the only flight fly over Mt. Everest and other highest peaks. In case you wish to start the tour in Lhasa arriving from anywhere in mainland China or taking a new train from Beijing you will be briefed about the tour by your Tibetan Guide.
Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be taken for sightseeing tour of all major Palaces and Monasteries before you embark your journey by luxury 4WD Land Cruiser through ancient cities of Gyantse, Shigatse. You drive through high passes over 5000m, Tibetan desert, sand dune, beautiful lake, Nomads herd(drokpas) and finally visit all the 3 base camps before you drive toward trans-Himalaya and reach Nepal border where you will be received by BATE representative and transferred to Dhulikhel in modern comfort of Resort for overnight stay and next day transferred to Kathmandu city.
