This region is considered to be one of the most remote place in Nepal.
The Kali Gandaki Gorge separates it from the Annapurna region. The Dhaulagiri (White Mountain) region has many Himalayan peaks (some fifteen peaks at 7000m.), hidden valleys and majestic views and is favored by trekkers who are looking for Off-the beaten-trail adventure.
