The Kingdom of Mustang was off-limits for tourist until 1991. Mustang managed to survive as an independent state as early as fifth century A.D. and even today it is royal family and loyal subjects enjoy a certain degree of autonomy. It is a majestic desert plateau is buffeted by the great winds whipping up between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. This trek begins with a flight to Jomsom via Pokhara One is immediately impressed by the large open spaces, towering rock formations, canyons and caves permeating the scenery. Day 02: Half day sightseeing of KTM.
Day 03: Drive/fly to Pokhara. Treks begin.
Day 04: Pokhara to Jhomsom by air.

Day 15: Jhomsom.
