Dolpo is newly opened and one of most remote destinations in western Nepal. It is a natural collection of high passes, rare fauna and sweeping vistas, which is enriched by the traditional Tibetan cultural heritage. The famous feature " Caravan" was shot in Dolpo showing the harsh livelihood of the natives of Dolpo. It's trekking trails offer some of most beautiful places such as village of Rara, Rara Lake, Lake Phoksundo and spectacular 550ft waterfalls in the Gandaki valley. |
