Alternatively, simply drive to Nagarkot early in the morning and start your trek downhill along the villages and farming fields. Nagarkot is located 32 km east of the Kathmandu Valley at an altitude of 2100m/6,888ft. It is a famous tourist destination renowned for its amazing mountain views, sunsets, and sunrises. The hiking trail is easy and descends through beautiful villages, terraced farms, and beautifully painted, locally built brick and stone houses.
